2/10～13に北海道名寄市にて
「第15回なよろ国際雪像彫刻大会ジャパンカップ」
が開催され、参加してきました。
今回は彫刻家のダムダンライさん、千代明さんとともに
チームオタルとして参加いたしました。
結果は審査員の方々による審査で決まる「優勝」と
参加者（雪像を作る人）の投票で決まる「芸術家賞」の
２つの賞をいただきました。
タイトルは「風の遺跡 Wind remains」とつけました。

Determined by the vote of the participants ( who make a snow sculpture ) of " artist Award"
Result is determined by the examination by members of the jury that " victory "
We received two awards . .

海外からは、カナダ、ドイツ、スペイン、フィンランド、韓国
国内からは札幌、宮崎と我々オタルの合計８チームの参加でした。
雪像は３ｍ立方の雪の塊を彫って形作っていきます。
電動工具は使用禁止なので各チームそれぞれ鋸やノミの大きくなったような道具で、
色々と工夫して作っていきます。
今年の名寄はあまり寒すぎず、制作中も天気は晴れすぎず、荒れもせず、
ベストコンデションだったと思います。
雪はサイコーに綺麗でエッジもビシビシ決まって気持ちよかったです。

South Korea, Miyazaki,Sapporo.
